Vintage tama Cowbell

Loading...

Gentlemen:

I recently acquired an old Tama cowbell with mount. I'm trying to find out all I can about it. It is eight inches long. Black. Serial number at the narrow end: 521-78-6885. On the side is engraved: Latin Percussion. I've tried searching it here and looking at the old Tama catalogs online but, I just can't seem to spot it. Maybe these old eyes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Brian

P.S. Man, is it loud!

What i think you have is a Tama mount maybe from the 80's don't know with out photos. The bell sounds like it was made by Latin Percussion not by Tama....Mikey

Thank you very much for the information, Mikey. I'll try to do a bit of research about Latin Percussion. Much appreciated.

Yep. You're exactly on the money! Vintage Tama mount and an old L.P. cowbell. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, Mikey.
