Hi Guys, I found and bought this beautiful Stewart blue sparkle kit. I cleaned them up nicely and fitted them with REMO black dot heads, (toms), and I must say, these drums sound fantastic. I have several USA vintage drums and let me tell you, the sound of these drums come pretty darn close to the US drums. The quality of the shells, mahogany (USA drums) vs lauan (Japanese imports), are not comparable, but the sound is all there, plus, they look good too !!!

Nice kit!! From the look of the badge, I would say these are 70's era...I have a "Saturn" snare in blue sparkle...I just love this wrap...It pops out at you....Nice find!!

Very nice example of post-Star Stewarts. This kit was built by Pearl, after Star stopped stencil production, as evidenced by the lugs and T-rods. Very clean kit!

Nice looking kit Drumsteroo. Saw those on Kijiji. I guess maybe I have to stop looking so hard and maybe eventually they will find me.
