Quite some time ago, I bought a double-padded bass muffler from a gentleman here on the Forum. It is stamped "Japan" on the arm. The seller seemed to think it was a Star but, wasn't positive. On ebay, there is a very similar muffler for sale. The site: "12 Vintage Rogers Gretsch Ludwig Clamp On BD Mufflers" by kingmusic 7658, The muffler is pictured in the third photo. The seller assures me that it is Japanese but, doesn't seem to know the manufacturer. This may be a long shot but, would anyone know the maker? Star? pearl? Thank you VERY much in advance!
