I just finished restoring or maybe I just detailed the early 60's Sonor teardrops. I didnt really have to replace anything. I took em' apart and shined everything and put em' back together. In the mean time i found a vintage sonor bass drum pedal to go with my hi hat and snare stand that I got with the kit. I got it in and was awed by the heavy dutiness of this piece of hardware. I took it apart and shined the sh*t outta it. It turned out very nice. I found another one the other day and got it too. I figured Id have it for a fellow forum member someday. I got it today and it was in much better shape than the one i already have with the exception of the rubber on the pedal. My 1st pedal's rubber is perfect, but the chrome and powder coat is pitted and worn. My 2nd pedal is perfect with the exception of the rubber on the pedal, YOU GOT IT! Im gonna make a perfect pedal outta the 2 pedals. I am so pleased. L@@K
