Vintage Slingerland Marching Drum

Loading...

I'm hoping someone can tell me a little bit more about the vintage Slingerland marching drum which was made for my late, great uncle. From what I've been able to see on the Vintage Drum website it looks to be from the 1930's and has a Diamond Pearl body with sparkling gold, silver and red "three tone" diamonds. It also has wooden hoops with sparkling gold inlays.

My Uncle Don played in the Drum & Bugle Corp (WW1) for the Army and had this drum made for his time with the Commonwealth Edison Competion Marching Band.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

There are more photos, but I do not have time to size them all.

Thanks David! If I knew how to resize these I would but I appreciate you doing so..... at your convenience, of course.
