Slingerland Modern Solo Outfit 2R with a 22” bass drum option

Finish is Sparkling Silver Pearl

According to input from this forum, the badges and their serial numbers relate to a 1971-1972 kit. The tom-tom mount attached to the bass drum is stamped Patented and the patent was issued in mid-1971. This, in additional to the low serial numbers, led multiple experts to identify this set as one from the very early 1970s. This set with the sparkling silver pearl finish is in Slingerland catalogs from the late-60s.

14” Zoomatic Snare Drum (serial number 121034)

12” Small Tom-Tom (serial number*72367)

13” Large Tom-Tom (serial number*68551)

16” Floor Tom (serial number*58925)

Flush Base Cymbal Stand

Chrome has expected wear with some pitting and oxidation. Review photos carefully.

This set only includes the items listed above and shown in photos. It does NOT include any cymbals or a hi-hat stand.

Yes, I'd love to get in the right person's hands so they can clean her up and make her sing again. I last played it in high school (in the 80s).

That is a great buy, particularly in view of the hardware included. Slingerland sets are so affordable. The few I've had sounded really good too. Good luck with the sale.
