Vintage Rogers Powertone or 6.5x14 New Blackbeauty?

Loading...

Hey

I want to explode trying to figure out which one I should keep.

I cannot keep both and both are mine. I love the seamless sound of my Acrolite 70's, I actually use it more that any other drum!

Which one would you keep?

Please help!

No question about it...keep the vintage Powertone. It's just going to appreciate in value. And it's a great sounding drum!

Keep the Powertone. But if you could, keep both, and sell something else. Sell your bass player's gear, he/she will not even notice.

Best price you could hope for on a Powertone is 250.... unless its in phenomenal shape. And even then..... not a lot more than that.

But its a drum worth far more than what it would sell for. A modern black beauty is just another snare drum these days.

I would keep the powertone. No...

I would keep both, and sell the beer cans.
