Vintage Premier throne questions.....

Loading...

I just got my first Prem throne....

It is the black seat, with around 20 rivets going around the bottom of the seat itself....

It also has hollow tubing for the legs.....but I have seen some (earlier?) ones that hav just straight tubing.....

The seat is very wiggly on the down stem.....if I lean to the left as I sit on it...I will about fall off!Hmmmm

This is not correct,right?

Also, just curious as to when they changed to the hollow legs?

Thanks for any help!

Anyone know about the throne being wobbly?

I either have to keep it...or send it back to the guy....

Do you have a pic of the seat, you can post here?

Have you compared your version of the seat with this website:

There are a bunch of different copies of them around the world --- in shed I have that junk as old soviet copy, and earlier I had an original Prem and MIJ the same...

More than once I fell off from these funny stools... :D

I picked up a load of stuff a couple of years ago, that included an old Premier throne base. Also a couple of MIJ, and an actual seat or two. The seat you described, sounds familiar - unfortunately this seat is on another, (MIJ) base, currently at a friend's house so I can't check if it fits. Seems to me though, that these old thrones weren't, (and by today's standards, certainly not) very comfortable, wobbly or not.
