Vintage premier kick drum info??

Hi i recently bought this vintage kick drum from ebay and am wondering if anyone can give me any information about it, i.e when it was made, what model, and things like that!

This is my first post since finding this website and i think i'l be here a lot more!!

A few things to help is the kick drum is a Premier 22 X 14 and the serial no. is 1406

(ps:my screenname is a joke, i really dont have blazing chops)

Your drum is from around 1976-78, it's from the Resonator range which was introduced in 1974 as the 'Kenny Clare' range but this was renamed 'Resonator' in 1976. In 1978 Resonators acquired a small name plate under the Premier badge along with a unique banded wrap finish.
