vintage (?) premier drum set, help ID

I know absolutely nothing about drumsets, this was given to me by a family member. I'm just curious about it, sorry if the pictures aren't very helpful but I'm not sure whats important. Unfortunately it didn't come with a snare drum.

VERY interesting...appears to be a Mahogany interior....most Premiers were Birch...then the cheapies were Luan.

I have heard and seen a few Mahogany premiers before, but they are definitely not in the majority of what they ever produced. Thin-ply shells with reinforcing rings ! That is a quality set of drums.

Next Question: do you still have the hardware which connects the small tom to the bass drum (a tube arm which is oval in cross-section)?

crying2-07 oomph...too bad, because that is an important piece for this particular set. It's a very cool and unusual tom arm...and it happens to fit only the very mount on that bass drum. Without it, someone would need to change out the bass mount or possibly find a vintage Premier converter (it is oval on one side, round on the opposite side so it can take a regular tube arm)...which is almost as rare as the original oval one itself.

If you did have that piece, I'd say the kit = $700+usd. Without it, mmmmaybe $500usd or so.

Still a cool kit....

Mind BlowiYEOW...here's one right here...hecka good price too !!!!

(hey folks, this is absolutely of zero use to anybody if you don't have the oval receiver bracket, so....no cherrypicking, eh ? ;) )
