Vintage Premier Drum ID please

Loading...

Guys,

Can anyone tell me what this bass drum is please. I have found some items on this site which look similar but the toms with this kit have Speedboat lugs and all the pictures I can find online do not.

I posted this little bass drum (20 x 12") on ebay and had a huge amount of interest so I just need to know what it is. It is finished in grey paint inside and out. No shiny wrap. The toms are the same. I have attached 3 pics for your consideration. Thanks.

Can we see the rest of the kit? Snare too, if there is one.

Hi,

There is no snare unfortunately, just 2 floating toms and 1 floor tom. There is also no tom mounts or floor tom legs. I do not have pictures of the other drums at this stage but I can take some this afternoon (UK time)

Being a six lugger it'll be a 60s Olympic. The tension rods are Premier but the claws are not. It has been repainted at some point. Will need to see the other drums to know if they are a true set.

I'm no expert but the lugs suggest 1970s but the floor tom leg brackets look older. Whether they came as a set I'm not sure but it's a fairly basic set with single headed toms. Maybe try this site for more info http://www.vintageolympic.co.uk/index.html
