A longtime friend who is a fellow drummer. Sent this file to me. There are some very interesting drum-related pictures in the very comprehensive file. I also found it very interesting because my civilian working career was in the guitar, amp, synthesizer, sound reinforcement, and drum industries. Please enjoy browsing this retrospective file.

Yeah, pretty cool. Some of those ads are funny....Veleno guitars....Carvin....I remember bands playing outdoor concerts on flat bed trailers with STACKS of ShowCo PA stuff and walls of Crown amplifiers.

In the 1960s, we played on flatbed trailers for a lot of dances in the Springtime, Summertime, and early Autumn on the parking lots of churches and parks. We usually provided our own P.A. system which wasn't enormous, but more than adequate to compete with four Dual Showman amplifiers.
