I've been reading all day about this cymbal in order to determine the age and price. Here is what I have:
-Black label
-Crescent stamp
-Serial number 917446
With all these aspects, my guess is it's from 1969 (last digit of serial is decade, first number is year).
Any idea if that is accurate or how much I can get for it?

They started using serialnr in 1971, so yours must be a 1979 cymbal.

which just happens to be up to date as at the end of October. Note that there is HUGE variation depending on
ink logos present and strong
more if it is a thin (or maybe a heavy -- but not so much for 18")
condition (NOS, mint, excellent, good, fair, damaged in some way)
what you get on the day.
So expect the average and hope for a bit more. FYI
