Hi Doug......Cheers. If you ever get chance over your side pick up one of these olympic snare drums COS 8 lugs. They are cracking snare drums. Not the greatest you will ever play but they pack a punch. Even the 3ply birch shells are a great sound whether a premier badge or olympic (same shell). The kit will be going on ebay in next few hrs. Lets see your star kit should be finished soon.

Thanks Kenwood.....The wrap as you know was what ringo had in early days with the beatles. Obviously with premier drums. I think this wrap finished after the olympic kit in the 70's but i might be wrong. Ive just basically brought them back to life. Some of the fitments i changed for better condition fittings which i already had from a previous olympic with damaged shells. The kit is now in exact original spec as it would have left factory. I just had to buy a couple of tension rods to make it original. More pics later today of full complete kit in its full glory..Regards sean

Beautiful kit. I had the Ringo Premier kit some twenty years ago. Very cool stuff. Paid very little for it because nobody was turned on to them then. I saw an Olympic 20, 12, 16 and matching snare recently on eBay for about $700. Great looking set too.
