Those are ROC Drums lugs, I only know this as I recently picked up a ROC kit and the good fellows here on VDF told me what I had :)
Vintage Octobans - Ludwig? Last viewed: 10 hours ago
I think these lugs may have become a Standard. I've even seen them recently being sold under the name " Enforcer ". Wouldn't be shocked if Tama was the main producer and supplied other companies with them. For a brief period I was endorsing Peace Drums & Percussion. While with them a friend had given me a cheapo WJM kit he had in his basement. I figured I'd use the hardware since it seemed good and the shells were crap. To my surprise all the hardware had been made by Peace. So I'd venture to guess that any of the lower companies likely bought hardware from the big boys and just tossed it onto whatever shells they managed to create.

"Dragon Drums" made octoban-esque drums as early as 1981. See:

I've seen Dragon Drums pop up from time to time. I don't think they were around long from what I know. I know since Tama first came out with the Octobans in the 1970's there have been a few companies who've tried to match their success. I see Dragon drums even tried to extend the idea to larger diameter drums. Personally I'd like to have 8" & 10" drums in long depths. And yea while they weren't labeled as octobans, same concept. It's interesting that the main way anyone refers to a 6" drum with a long depth is only that name for one company.

OK I guess I am going to have to list these as Tama based on the information I have. No idea why drum companies don't badge their Octobans/Rocket Toms etc.
Thanks for assistance guys. These will be available online in the UK soon if anyone is interested.
What's interesting is that Tama did. But ( here comes the kicker ) they used little red stickers with the tama name and placed those on the inside of the Octoban towards the bottom. Needless to say they didn't stay on long. The tom mount might have the name as well. But yea It is a little silly that they wouldn't do a basic badge.
