Meinl 2000 Top Serie 19.5 Crash Ride Hammered B20 Bronze

This cymbal is a New Old Stock in excellent condition. Hammered from 1980 and it is b20 Bronze the top of the line series from Meinl.

Sound is dark, it has a quiet nice and defined "bell" and great stick definition with a very laid back wash. Very early Zildjian K Custom cymbal with a wonderful crash.

If you want only one cymbal on your recording or gig, this is it.

Make me an offer. :)

No offense meant.....

I have been reading up on Meinl like crazy lately,so feel I know a good bit about them already....and I see no mention of b20 alloy.....till they get into the Byzance Series.....early 2001.....

If this is indeed b20.....I am possibly interested...

Thanks

I also am unable to find information that states these are (or are not) B20.

"Golden Line 2000" seems to be the full name.

There were also "Golden Line 100", which adds to the confusion.

No mention of these in the Meinl history.

It's a budget line, like all other cymbal lines of Meinl in 70s

Bit late on a reply to this post but just to clarify, Golden line 2000 series cymbals were made from B8 alloy, not B20 as stated here.King beat were the only and first pro series by meinl at this time. both series made between 1978 and 81', king beat features in their vintage catalogue but the golden line series do not. Take nothing away from them mind, Golden line 2000 are great cymbals and if you find one hold on to it, I have the 14 inch crash (Not For sale!).
