I found this kit in my area and was wondering if it is worth it and if it's a good kit? Here's the link http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/msg/2912890307.html

Thanks! God bless!

That's an early Ludwig Rocker. It was an entry kit, but with those small Classic lugs, it would make it early in production. More than likely the shells are the same as Ludwig Classic series of that same era, the look to have the brown colored Granitone sprayed inside.

As is, 300 bucks for just the drums is a bit high in my opinion. I turned down a very nice 5 piece (12, 13, 16, 22 and 5" snare) of the same color at $250.00. The friend who sold it got less than that when he sold it.

Unless you are looking for a basher kit, I'd cruise eBay for Rockers with the same lugs, you can get a good deal.

Looks like a pretty good deal. Clean, good heads, etc. I would add in $50.00 to have the mounted tom cut down. Or, mount it on a snare stand, to get it lower.......
