Vintage Hayman Snare Drum.Info Please.1970's
Unless I'm mistaken, the badge on your snare was used on Hayman drums between 1969-1973.
Early 70s and looks to be in very good shape. The wrap was prone to breaking down over time. It's a foil sandwiched between thin plastic and the foil starts to disintegrate over time. That's why so many Hayman drums have been rewrapped. Your one looks very nice though in Gold Ingot.
The throw is obviously not original which is another common Hayman problem. The original throw (in photo) often seems to be missing on these and I'm not sure why as my one seems solid enough. The good thing is the P83/85 has the same hole spacing so no extra holes are needed.
