Brilliant stuff,…for us Dutch speakers of course.

It's an introduction to a Max Roach concert recorded by the BRT in 1964.

The BRT, Belgische Radio en Televisie (Belgian Radio and Television) is our national television station since 1953. They own an incredible amount of brilliant recordings but unfortunately are seldom released.

Some great examples to be seen here,… enjoy !

Search for "tienerklanken" on Youtube and you'll be amazed.

Rory Gallacher,The Moody Blues, Deep Purple, Soft Machine, etc….

Do you consider the term "going Dutch" politically incorrect?

Thanks so much for that!

I hope everyone watches all 4 installments.

Max was a genius.

In addition to being a great singer and musical actress/interpreter, Abbey was drop dead gorgeous.

Not at all,… I'm Dutch speaking Belgian (Flemish) not Dutch (The Netherlands), so go ahead.

We do share the same language though,….

I toured France in the support act for a Belgian/Scottish band called Deus. Awesome band and my all-time favorite tour.

Thanks for sharing the Belgian TV stuff. There was so much great music on TV back then.

Is there a Flemish accent?
