Found a vintage 70's era Fibes acrylic set, asking price is $600. Is this a good deal? Also comes with Ludwig snare, seller says its 70's era as well

Vintage Fibes Acrylics are hard to find , so i'd say a big YES to that !

The 70's Ludwig Acrolite snare drum, is a definite bonus.. I'd jump on those real fast..

Acrolite! Score! I think this sweetens the deal-e-o.

Unless there are parts missing or the shells are splitting, that's a deal! The Acrolite is a buck and a half alone!

Agreed that is a good price. But does that include those stands and cymbals? If so yes jump on it.

Ive sold two vintage fibes kits in the past and the market for them is weird. Theres a handful of guys out there that know about them and want them, but the rest of the world thinks they are some "vistalite knock off" (but really the sort of had the idea before ludwig.. thats another story)

The first kit I sold was just a shell pack in similar sizes to those pictured. I had just spent a lot of time polishing up the shells and replacing hard to find floor tom mounts etc, and still only got 400 bucks for the shells, which was a bummer.

Anyway grab them. The old fibes shells were more well made than ludwigs were. I'd bet they are all crack free

And once you get the right heads and tuning, they will sound fantastic

Snap those up, if that's what you're looking for. They look complete with the tom mount & those bass drum spurs. Ready to to go

Fibes acrylic drums sound great and those are classics. Fibes has a number engraved into the shell near the batter side beveled edge it's hard to find. Anyway, that should help you date them.
