Hey calfskin, not a wrap. It's a finish. Actually i've done that myself. All else is

original except the tension rods which i changed to modern 7/32s and the snare strainer and butt which had been replaced with the Trick ones. :)

That finish is really nice. I'm hoping someone finishes a set in an early sixties "MOD" motif, like kitchen countertops of that era. White background,various rocket-style shapes and ovals in patterns etc.

i think i know what you mean. This was my take on the Oyster wrap as

i dislike wraps but dig the pattern. I might give the MOD a try next time :)

well; that is so much better then. superior work. I noticed the Trick throwoff, fits like a glove. lovely drums and I bet they play as well as they look.

Thank you calfskin, i was surprised too how well actually the Trick throw off fitted! And yes, they play really well. This is my second Amati and i absolutely

love them. Spent a month and a half working on them and what a difference

a little work makes to the sound of an old drum, it's unbelievable!
