Kit features period correct Gretsch 6 ply jasper shells and all original gretsch vintage hardware. We took painstaking efforts to make the kit 100% period correct, down to the original 5 band floor tom legs and disappearing spurs with winged feet. bass drum conversion and kit rewrap performed by Gary and George at the legendary Precision Drum Company in Pleasant Valley NY, they are beautiful and the work performed is top notch. As gorgeous as the kit looks, it sounds even better! that legitimate vintage 60’s round badge bop sound and the warm tones of the Jasper shells make this kit a true jazzer’s dream.
