This drum is a bit of a mystery - the lugs and tension rods are Leedy/Ludwig, but the tom mounts are Slingerland! It's possible that this could have been a Slingerland "china type" tom converted to a "tunable" tom with Leedy hardware. Or perhaps it's a Leedy drum with some unoriginal Slingerland hardware? Either way, all parts are "era correct," and the drum looks and sounds great! It's most likely a Slingerland, judging by the wrap and shell.
This is a cool one! So cool, I don't reaaalllly want to sell it... Buy it before I change my mind!
The 2-ply mahogany shell is in near-perfect condition, as are the edges. There's a bit of wear on some of the nickel hardware, and a few scuffs in the wrap, but overall this drum is in great condition! The wrap has hardly any fade - something very rare with drums this age!
Someone redid the top head at some point, and they must not have used quite big enough of a skin, so the original tack-holes are visible. Luckily, the head is perfectly useable as-is! There's also some tape residue on the top hoop (I was able to remove 99% of it) and some sort of sticky residue on the bottom head.
