I'd like to see some still pics of that ginormous kit! I didn't realize he played a monster. Only familiar with his Dio work - kick-ass.

Ronnie James Dio made a couple albums with Black Sabbath in the early 80's and VinnieAppice was added on "Mob Rules" record. This was actually my favorite Sabbath line-up of all time. Vinnie plays hard rock with a nice groove feel. He brings much finesse to a genre of 'bashers'.Keep on Pl

Brother Carmine Appice played in Cactus, Jeff Beck, & also worked with Rod Stewart(late 70's), Ozzy Osbourne(when I saw him) & then King Kobra which was a late 80's glam/metal band. Carmine is best known for his flair(stick trwirling), double bass techniques and omni present biker mustache.Party

Currently working on a 7 piece virgin double bass 3 ply early 70's Ludwig kit to be wearing....MOD ORANGE.

I saw vinny with ronnie on the black sabbath tour heaven and hell tour when they came to canada a few years back he was playing a monster dw exotic kit the sound was amazing. the drum roadies/teck realy got theire work cut out for them well it could be worst they could be setting up for bozzio

I get a similar feelling when I listen to all the greats such as John Bonham, Ian Paice, Keith Moon, Bill Ward, Appice bros., Mitch Mitchell, Ginger Baker, etc. etc. etc.!!:rolleyes:
