Like ChristianB said, that's the original name of it, and it is a typical Star made wrap (some Stewarts were a sub-brand of Star, too).
Don't know whether Slingerland had a similar finish at that time, as the Japanese drum companies copied the hell out of American/ European producers at that era ...
