My stands were made in China....does that sound like the 2000 series?..

Maybe I have it wrong...but they looked like mine on Sonormuseaum.com.

Thanks for any help....I do not have them here,otherwise,would post pics....

Yes, that`s correct. 2,000 and 3,000 hardware are made in Asia.

When plating laws changed in Germany in the 90`s, the **** hit the fan cost wise. SONOR was forced to outsource.

The Designer and currently the 600 series are the only hardware lines still made in Germany. Even the JoJo Pedal is not made in Germany :( It's a nice pedal but you can tell its not. All my 600 series hardware and designer stuff is super nice.
