Value on Gretsch round badge Rock and Roll

Loading...

Just picked these up & I'm looking to sell them, I don't know squat about Gretsch, I'm a Ludwig guy. From what I can tell these are the same as shown in the 1964 catalog. I have the serial numbers but couldn't get good pics of them, they are:

BD 109663

Tom 1 109132

Tom 2 109394

FT 109710

The BDP finish is dusty but appears to be in excellent shape, all rods are present, the inlay has come loose on the front BD hoop but is there. Bearing edges look to be in fine shape.

It also came with the HH, BD pedal & 1 cymbal stand.

I'm pretty sure it lived its' life here in the southwest which means no rust.

I just threw it together for the pics, not trying for a catalog look.

I'm in the US. What people ask on eBay & what they get are two different things.

no no auction sales, from people who know the market, if you find fast estate sales on CL you can pay a lot less

your complete set can sell quickly at $1400, more could you spend a lot more time, but how much do they measure? 20+12+14 are a little more worth than 22/24+13+16 (have less demand)

They're 20, 12, 12, 16, I believe it to be the original configuration, I know the guy I bought it from & I think he bought them new or slightly used back in the day. I forgot to ask him....

I'll probably put it on my local CL as soon as I can establish a price, that's why I'm here askin' the experts :)

the complete set could be worth a little more, because all as original how he got out of the store, including the stand and pedals, however is a model little sought and it could take more time

moreover, the 16" flor tom worth much less than what I wrote was referred to 14x14 which alone can be seen on sale even over $ 1000!

the bass drum does not have the rails consolette, and with the support of the tom, it is little sought but for $ 400 you sell it quickly, the tom are very sought for 250 euro you sell them right away, the 16" FL may take some time to sell it unless you settle for $ 2-300 ... in total reach 1100/1200

I would like to hear some other opinions, if I have missed a few details of your model

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
