Thank you everybody for the information! Believe it or not, my dad actually found this in an old wood trunk that was destined for the city dump in the early 90s! I wonder if it was being tossed out from an old school or church.
I think I'm going to sit on it for a bit. Crazy to think it's nearly 100 years old!

I agree with Bun E...the air hole looks like it was made bigger but that's usually where the air hole was on 8 luggers.. If it's going to be a player drum then just get the repro ext. lever and thumb screw.
