Well at least there is some good info in this thread should someone else ever have the same challenge, thanks to all of your suggestions.

If the drums haven't sold yet I would suggest getting in touch with Compact Drums and see if he can make the wrap. I sent a few samples his way and a few vintage colors are now available. I'm sure he could re-so this spot on. And then the buyer has a way to re-wrap the bass drum with the perfect matching wrap, if they choose to do so.
