I just got these "unmarked" hi hats. They appear to be B20 and vintage but the lathing lines are much more pronounced and deep compared to my vintage Zildjians. Any ideas on who made them and time period? Weights are 905 grams and 1210 grams. They sound very similar to my vintage Zildjians :)
Unlabeled Hi hats Compared to Vintage Zildjian..Help Identify
Hi ardrummer!
Without any identifying logos, it can be difficult to know the exact manufacture of these cymbals. Maybe one of our members will have something similar and can offer a possible brand. That being said, they do look like nice pro-quality hats! How do they sound? That's the bottom line! The weight difference between top/bottom suggests something similar to Zildjian's New Beat hats, but on the lighter side. I would think they sound great!

Thanks for the response. Yes, they sound great! I did a demo comparing them to my zildjians [ame="https://youtu.be/JyD_atwL84c"]https://youtu.be/JyD_atwL84c[/ame]
Yes...other than the slightly higher pitch, they do sound similar! Hope you got them for a good price, too!

Maybe Zyn.
Thanks to Mr. Jerry Jenkins
Only two problems with that: Zyn would have a trademark. And Zyn was NS12.
From googling unmarked/unstamped B20 cymbals, I'm not finding much info. I may never know what they are, but they do sound good...so that's the main-est thing, lol
Looks like a generic Wuhan. Guitar Center sold them as "Agazarian" and they have had other low end drum company names on them (Groove Percussion, Percussion Plus, PDP EZ etc.)
It doesn't mean its a bad cymbal, just what I've seen that's similar. Some of those are hidden gems.
