Unknown MIJ Snare

Good day,

I just finished putting together an unknown MIJ snare that I purchased a while back. I have searched hi and low to identify it, but to no avail. There is nothing on it that indicates it ever had a badge. The shell is chrome over steel. The throwoff looks like it could possibly be a Gracy, but the tone control has me totally stumped. I'm sure someone out there has seen this before.

As always any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dean

Deano, this looks like a Teisco to me. Maybe Mikey will know.

Thanks Jonni,

Now that I look at other Teisco snares I believe you are on the money. I have yet to beat on this sucker as the wife is home so it will have to wait.

I flipped a Norma about a month ago that was exactly like this. I especially dig the muffler design inside.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Your snare is a M.I.J. snare.Made dometime from about 1967-1972 made bt Pearl. Most likey had a sticker badge on it at one time near the air grommet hole or under the grommet..hard to give a name to the snare with the missing badge. It come be one of 50+ name's that Pearl used.Oh be careful of the strainer handle they will brake off,if you ever brake it off i have them in my parts....Mikey
