I have a chance to buy these locally and was wondering if anyone knows make, age, value, etc. Thanks in advance for any help.
Unknown MIJ, Help Please.
This might be a 'Hoshino' kit (I mean neither STAR nor Tama).
All reso hoops and heads appear to be missing?
Then I wouldn't pay more than utmost US-$ 100 for it.

Either a Hoshino or a Pearl stencil. I can tell you that the FT leg mount is indicative to what it is. I am sure your answer will come soon.

The set to me looks to be a Pearl made set sametime in the late 60's-[1967-69].The tom mount floor tom leg mounts tell me this..The lugs on the toms and bass are somewhat copys n shape of the Slingerland lug.The lugs on the snare are copys of the Rogers lugs that Pearl made in the 2 year's..So guy's do think that it could be a Star made set by the 3 rings in the bass drum-but Pearl made these 3 ring drums from about 67-69.If you do get the set take off a lug and see if it does say Pearl or it could a 4 number's also and not Pearl. Also the T-rods are 12/24 thread on the set they are not metric threads...Any way to post a photo of the T-rods and claws on the bass drum?...The set looks to be in good condition i would see if you could get them for the 5 drums for under 300.00,if the set has the stands/cymbals then 300.00 would be a great deal..The finish is a rare finish to get today...Mikey
See now I would have said Crown-due to the lug shape.
