I found this picture of snare on local buy sell site

Shell is "classic" MIT from 80's

Snare strainer is some older Mapex

Lugs, which are mounted of center looks like Ludwig Imperials or some

old Sonor plastic lugs from early 70's Ranger model

What you think it can be?

An interesting snare drum! I've never seen this one before. The lug spacing almost suggests that this 6.5" shell was punched for a 5" shell. Rather than scrap the shell, the manufacturer chose to use longer tension rods for the batter. This is all just an educated guess and this may be how the manufacturer wanted it! An interesting drum! Maybe others will recognize it.

The lugs are not SONOR, They would have a cut out for the center bead.

Gibson made for Mapex in the USA, Maybe it`s from that era. MIT drums had mostly tube lugs or separate sets for batter and snare.

I never saw this one before But I think Mapex had Dallas do drums for them too.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
