this one was certainly cheap. so, i'll be ok either way. i just thought the hammering was beautiful. had to take a chance. hopefully here in a couple more days. will give a full report upon arrival!

arrived today. have no idea what it is. weighs in a little over 1000 grams,bendable. sounds trashy. no stamps on it for sure.

i don't usually buy trashy sounding or effects cymbals. so, its hard for me to say. middle of the road i guess.

I'm a bit interested in those pinwheel type striations on this cymbal(pic 1). It does look like they might have been formed during cooling of the metal????---just as the metal is hardening but still fairly liquid the cymbal is turning, yielding such a pattern, kind of like ripples in beach sand but curved due to the rotating. Are these cymbals now , rotocast or is the picture creating an illusion due to shadowing and the ripples are actually lathe chatter?
