Unknown cymbal and Maxwin snare

Hello,

I found blue "Maxwin" 6-lugged snare w/ stand and cymbal at Aukro.

I know that Maxwin was budget line made by Pearl, but I've heard it sounded quite nice. The snare sure does look well, but what I really care about is the cymbal.

Looks like 13"-15", but I can't identify the brand. Lathing looks Zildjian-ish to me, could that be? If so, how much is it worth, along with the snare?

bro.... how is anyone supposed to tell you what it is? but i will give it a shot. it appears to be a cylindrical piece of metal called a "cymbal" it was made sometime in the last hundred years and is worth between zero and one thousand dollars. snare worth maybe 20$.

Hey, fellas.....c'mon...Gilnar just wanted to know if it looked familiar to anyone.

Gilnar, it sorta looks Italian to me. The thing is...I am not so sure those marks in it are hammer marks from the cymbalmaker....or stick dings. It could be an Italian handmade...or it could just be an old brass, thin cymbal which was beat upon. It sorta looks like that to me.....

I would pass on it if I were you....might not be worth the risk...

Gilnar, my apologies man

After John Rutsey's post, I clicked on the link, and saw a foreign language and thought he was referring to a bad link... I did not even bother to scroll down and see the snare and cymbal combo at the bottom of the page.

Seriously, I'm sorry for the mistake.

For me, I'd be going after the snare for the cool looking blue pebble grained wrap and the stand with the accessory to mount the cymbal.

Once again, my apologies sir.

Peace

That cymbal has a rather extreme bow. It looks Chinese to me. My guess is it came out of China and is worth about 15 bucks. Sorry but that's what I see. The snare looks kinds cool.

Kevins, always the man of good character. Class act. Seriously.

Man, thank-you Gilnar, for understanding... !! That means a lot to me...!!

And thanks Mcjnic.....I'm really embarrassed about it.

I'm getting too much exercise jumping to conclusions.
