Uncertain About Drum Size

Loading...

Looking at this picture, what size do you guys think the champagne drums are? The owner says 13/16/22 but I just don't see it. I don't think he's misleading me but I'm positive they're bigger. Do y'all think I'm crazy?

For reference, I think the silver sparkle is definitely a 12/14/20 and the sky blue pearls are definitely 12/16/22.

The champagne set looks like 13/16/24. Have the seller measure them. Easy enough.

Went ahead and did that. I'd been a little nervous because it's a vintage drum shop and I know these guys know their trade, so I didn't want to sound like a know-it-all customer.

The seam on the floor tom isn't under the lugs, and even though it's not off by a mile it makes me think it's an 18 with a second seam. Couple that with how big the kick looks compared to the floor tom and it's almost a no-brainer... but like I said, these guys know their stuff and I'm just a yahoo on the internet.

The one in the center is pretty. Is that a faded sparkle? Or some sort of sea green?

I believe it’s a silver sparkle.
