Type IV old K's
The only one I have is this 40s 15inch hi hat bottom of a jazz set. 970 g

sorry about the overly ringing sound recording from my phone, I think I had the phone too close to the cymbal.
I am thinking of parting with it as I am not a jazz player.
I was fortunate to get one early on. an 18" (17 17/32" ) IVa 1521g later I picked to a IVa 16" (full 16") 1271g almost flat bell. only own 2.
IV's are so unusual, tricky, shaped like IIIs but lathed or something result in a monotone hardness but they're vicious in a band. Stick for days.

That type IV team had their own way of building for a few years; Looked like a III (I think almost identical?) but sure as hell.. stiffer and monotone..different
yes/no?
I know what I think.
Here’s my Type IVb:

digging around on an old photobucket link;
"Hey Bill, remember this pic?" I swiped it off you years back at holic I think...
have you any of this left?....-->
The pink champagne Rogers (bread and butter lugs) is still with me. But the WMP Ludwig & Ludwig isn't.
I still have the Vox amps too.
