two questions:

Loading...

one: my (early?) 60's Rogers Holiday snare has the capital letter 'F' stamped into the re-rings. I'm guessing this is some kind of coding but for what?

two: attached pics are of a straight, flat bottom cymbal stand, one of a pair that came with a kit I picked up late last year. No manufacturer markings but the fittings match exactly those on the Ludwig hi-hat stand that also came with it. The tilter on the cymbal stand has a conical spring within the adjuster. Ludwig or generic?

thanks in advance.

Many thanks, gentlemen.

The one pictured is the better of the two and it has some minor/medium rust issue on the legs. it's missing its rubber feet and the cymbal retaining wing nut is absent.

The other has some serious rust corrosion on the edges of its legs, the extender (3rd stage) is pretty dinged-up and it's minus it's conical spring and cymbal tilter.

Apart from those issues, they look pretty good for 40+ years.

Me? I'm not using them.
