Does anyone have 2 of these badges that they wish to sell me please?
many thanks in advance...?
Hello,
Acc. to my best knowledge there is no connection between Tromsa and Vox - but between Trixon and Vox.
Here's a link to a Trixon website:
http://www.trixondrums.de/trixon/trixon.htm
It should be quite easy to make a replica of that badge (I've done that once for a 'Roy' drum kit easy and successful):
make a good picture of it with a camera,
use Photoshop or another photo editing program to reduce it to the black and white badge,
go to a copy shop and make copies of the file in genuine size onto a clear adhesive foil,
put this copy onto a little piece of mirror chrome plate (polished Aluminium etc. OR a mirror chrome adhesive foil),
ready is your replica.
Cheers, Ralf
Trixon Vox drums were only sold in North America because the deal with Trixon was with Thomas Organ the USA Vox manufacturer/distributer. Vox had entirely different products and manufacturing in North America because of a poor licensing and production deal that JMI the original UK parent company made with Thomas Organ. The Vox drum kits sold in Europe through JMI were indeed Tromsa made. These kits are very rare as Vox was known for it's amps, organs and guitars and not drums at all so they sold very few of them.
