What in the world do you use to carry a Trixon Speedfire bass drum in?
Has anyone come up with anything adapted from some other use?

Believe it or not Trixon did have a Speefire case, but I have only ever seen 2!!
The only thing you could do would be to get them custom made mate..
What kit do you have??
Hey diamond ... looks like you have a few of them. So after searching for years a Telstar and Speedfire both dropped in my lap in the same week.
The Speedfire at this point is just the bass drum and 13' mounted tom in Champagne Sparkle. So I'm on the lookout for a matching floor tom. I was hoping someone had found a bag that was intended for something else but fit the drum. There's a lot of sports bags that look like they might be close.
The Telstar kit was blue Sparkle, but it has almost completely faded to silver.
I think I'll keep the Telstar in it's vintage condition. Everything else is in excellent condition. But if I can't find a matching floor tom for the Speedfire kit I may have to re-cover it.
Fantastic catch mate...you got some pictures please??
Wow ... too cool!
I managed to land another cymbal stand as well so I'll be able to play out and keep the whole kit Trixon. Very clever how the legs are spring loaded ... hope they last.
Besides Ingo's site are there any other good repositories of Trixon knowledge? I'd like to avoid the little lesson I learned about removing the leg bolts and having them strip out the holders in the process :(
Hi mate,
sorry for the late reply...
glad you like the Blue Stripe Telstar..
great news you grabbed another stand, the kit must look great...did you see the Trixon cymbals on e bay??
Ingo is excellent for knowledge, or you can pm me if you need any help or assistance..
Once again great catch mate
