These are very beautifull. The teardrop lugged Trixons are by far the best. Trixon built their reputation on those drums and it was hard sledding but just as they started to roll they changed the entire package to the tank lug drums with straight through shells and triple flanged hoops and then things started to fall apart----sales went up based on inertia but the drums went down . I've been around a lot of Trixon and the old thin shells with rerings and heavy incurved hoops blow the 5 ply away. I even have a solid shell snare from 1956 and it is a beaut. Anyone out there; don't give up on these because of the odd sized shells----the heads are available and they truly sparkle with calf heads as well. It is hard to see that better drums were ever made. Too bad they don't have the original accesories. They are a joy in themselves.

yeah i agree,,the Trixon Telstar is a fab lookin kit and totally different with the 20" rear and 16" front bass drum skin which match the floor to with the rack going 14" to 13" pure conical shape and love it!!!

Also the early Luxus with the teardrop legs also look fab and let us not forget the elliptical speedfire.

in a nutshell fab drums with unique eye catching designs and i must say the Luxus and Telstar sound great live !!!
