Thought I would share my latest 'Bargain of the Century'...I knew that Trixon never did a plain red wrap in 63' so took a gamble when buying this...it paid off when underneath the red fabulon was the rare blue stripes wrap...well pleased

After nearly 2 hours...the tape has finally come off and all the glue residue has gone...just need top and bottom heads and a couple of lugs..
Incidentally it also came with the Trixon snare stand too!!

Very nice, Dave--and with the staggered lugs too! I once had a Trixon rack tom with black leatherette mac tac on it. I started peeling the mac tac and it came fairly easy , to reveal a Blue Croco finish in perfect shape---almost no adhesive residue remained. The drum went to the well known Trixon collector, Johnny in Michigan; who unfortunately departed for a while.
Congrats on that bargain. It turns out to be a great looking snare drum!
