Made in Taiwan, not sure when, or by whom, but they did exist. There is a smattering of info if you google it and surprisingly you will see a few "high end kits"..Just when you think you know it all, another drum pops upExcited...anyone heard of these?

I think I remember seeing an ad in MD for these just before I let my subscription lapse. I looked on Google and Yahoo and saw nothing. Any possibility of a link or something?

The best I can do is compare with a known drum, I think it`s KHS Mapex...

I believe that they are imported by a company in Montreal. I see quite a few floating around including some kits that look like "DW copies". I've never played one though.

OK....So you did see the drums!. I think there are a lot of un answered tid bits in our industry like this, but I should know by Wed when I p/u the shells if they are in fact ...Mapex .....How does a high end $ 2500 kit slip under the radar like this?

Got them home and for 50 bucks for a 5 pc, whats not to like? Light weight, thin shells, no re rings, heavy grain, I believe is oak!,cool lacqr finish, great sizes; 20,10,12,14fl.,5x14 matching...no mods, all original, its a good drum day!
