This is a great way to get your vintage drums to the show.
Sorry if off topic but saw this yesterday parked by work.

A good ole Checker !!!! Cool1 We had a 6 door version in my home town for many years the local airport used it.
Wow have not seen a wagon before. Just the good ol 4 doors. I used to wonder how so many old cabs were still running. Until I found out Checker was around until 82. :-)
Pretty cool. Not seen one for a long time that wasn't painted yellow.
Here is what I have hauled drum with on occasion.
My cousin and I put together and managed an all female rock band in the mid 1970's. That experiment could have bankrupted both of us if we hadn't pulled the plug when we did. You've heard all the jokes about having a "chick singer in the band". Well........five of them singing and playing instruments is that kind of trouble times a thousand. The last thing that we disposed of was this 1958 Pontiac that we bought for hauling the band's gear (which was mostly our stuff that they used).
I think the rule is, each female member causes problems to expand exponentially...
Although we did try to have my bass player's Wife sing for us and although it never went anywhere for the band, it at least didn't cause big problems.
