This seems to be a child's drum, perhaps made by a toy company. It probably came w/ a carry strap. This is well made compared to many toy drums. Did you look inside for a label or stamp ? My first impression was that it was European. (you took a gamble ? ... You couldn't have paid too much). These are historically interesting. I've picked up quite a few of these types over the years.

Hi Buddy, thanks for the reply, did think possibly the same as you, but for £30 thought I would have a go at it and hey presto i got it...Will have a proper look inside when it arrives. Definately an old one though?
