1983 Rogers XP10 6.5 x 14 Coliseum snare - Custom built for Gina Schock of the Go-Gos by John Cermenaro, the last R&D manager of the Rogers Drum Company. This was a 1-off drum built one year before Rogers closed its doors. Inscription inside from John Cermenaro dedicating the drum to Gina.

The coliseum design (a Ludwig innovation) has a 1/4" vent running the circumference of the drum, giving it more volume and a distinct "cracking" sound. This is constructed of 10 ply New England rock maple. Note the brass "luglocks" and black felt lug isolators which were Rogers innovations for its last two years of American drum production, 1982 and 1983.

Rogers did not build a tobacco sunburst snare as part of their catalog, nor did they produce a coliseum snare for sale.
