I'm in touch with a guy selling a nice 60s Ludwig set in a very cool finish. I already have a BOP and a Champagne (both 60s Ludwigs)...in addition to 2 Yamahas. The bonus room is getting a little crowded, but man I'm tempted! This kit I'm looking at is BDP. The Levon fan inside of me kind of wants it because of that...even though his was a Gretsch kit of that wrap. Hmmm...
To get or not to get vintage Ludwig drumset number 3 Last viewed: 22 minutes ago
You are asking the wrong group.
I'll admit that it's more want than need!
You should buy as many drums as you want. :)
It's better to have something you don't need, than to need something that you don't have... Yes Sir
If your asking us it really means you've already made up your mind so..... "hey guess what I'm getting" LOL.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

AGGGHHH. I think I'm going to hold off. I just have too much stuff...actually just enough at the moment.
Not sure how big you guys are into memes, but i thought this might put a nice twist on the general mindset of most of us here...

Dude! There's three ways this could play out:
1. You buy the kit, feel satisfied of your purchase, and look forward to the next purchase while you post pics on the forum.
2. You don't buy the kit, feel the regret, look around at some more drum p0rn on this forum, decide you just can't take it anymore, and go buy something else, on impulse, that you aren't quite as happy about, but at least the G.A.S. bug has been fed.
3. You don't buy the kit, realize you're being too materialistic, sell off all but one or two of your kits (for practical reasons, of course), and you leave the forum, realizing that all it's doing is making you lust for more drums...
