To buy or not to buy: cracks in Slingerland tom shell

Just so you know, the cracks and delamination were not likely caused by over-torquing of the head, but this looks like an early tom and likely would have had skin heads, hence water damage. Many people that tucked their own heads put them on far too wet and it affected the shell to some degree, and the number of time this head was replaced or re-stretched. Each time it would get a new splash of water and back on the shell to dry out, the shell absorbing the excess moisture. I had a 12" Sling shell from the early 60s and it was definitely water damage, as this appears to be as well.
