Still in the back room, Mark. I have not had the energy to do it. I am looking to get to them later this spring, but I just have been very broke, and had 4 surgeries, beginning Dec 19. They told me, the week before Christmas, that I "should prepare myself, both physically and mentally, for amputation of your left leg, below the knee". My wife had scheduled surgery on the 21st so it could be done over her 2 week break from OU (staff). So, we went through our Holiday thinking I was about to lose my leg. And we were both on massive amounts of pain pills, so it just made the thing that much worse.
And we had to depend on family and friends to make Christmas for our son as we had no money to buy anything at all for him. And yes, there is a Santa Claus, we met "him" on Facebook. People I have "known" for years on F/B and other social media took care of him, and my family sent a ham. The F/B crowd sent nearly $500.00 worth of stuff for him. It was quite pitiful, actually. On the 14th, we had a barren tree, by the 20th, there was a tree-ful of gifts.
I am trying to mend, but there is considerable damage to the muscles in my left leg due to lack of blood flow. There was, quite literally, only enough blood flow to my left foot to barely keep it alive, and the rest of the leg below the knee was cool to the touch, as if it were dying, and it was. But I went to another hospital, in Longview, TX and there is practice there that specializes in arterial clotting in the legs. They were able to restore a considerable amount of flow, but still, only about 25% of normal.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues Jonni. I'm glad to hear that the other hospital has improved matters somewhat though. I hope things get better for you soon.
I've been away from VDF for a few months and just now learning about this Jonni... Hang in there man! Sounds like it's getting better and your not losing your leg? My first obvious thought was, damn how in the heck can you kick a beat with a leg missing, just thinking like another drummer of course... Sending positive waves out your way man! :)
