Check this out. I'm dying to try one of these, not sure if they are available stateside, though. There are also some clips on Youtube with Morgan Ågren playing it.

Wow that is awesome! And I can imagine extremely useful, but I can't see myself ever shelling out that much for one.

I agree, great kit but way over priced. I'd love to sit down and play around on one though. That thing looks cooler than anything I've seen in awhile. Great, creative extrapolation of a cajon!

Too many great drums to list here!

I'm starting to think about how to construct one myself. Question is how to position the tension screws?

Looks like they took a metal audio-visual cart from school, stripped it down, cut some holes into it, epoxied some cut up shell section to it and it looks lik ethey might have used some kind of pop jack nut to screw the tension rods into.

It would be fairly easy to make one, from the looks of it.

Yes, it's a cajon! I just read the article.

It's cool, but it would be harder to load into my car than my present gigging kit.

it would be cool to see a drummer play live with that , just not sure how many drummer's will shell out that kind of coin for that .

They are probably somewhat cheaper in the US despite being manufactured in Sweden, since our national sales tax is 25%
